If you were waiting for a sign, this is it. On the 3rd of March, people across Aotearoa will be congregating in designated areas to demand meaningful global warming action from Parliament.
The time to enact positive change is now. The time to turn off the global emissions tap is now. We cannot wait for the next natural disaster to tragically displace communities across Aotearoa.
Global warming action is not about finger pointing; skiving off work and school; or creating a nuisance. It is about coming together as a team of five plus million and evolving. It is about standing up to be counted for the generations to come. It is about collaborating to safeguard our future against global warming.
If you are based in Ōtepoti Dunedin NZ, please come join me, School Strike 4 Climate NZ, Forest & Bird, Extinction Rebellion Aotearoa New Zealand, and many others in the Octagon at 3.00pm to voice your concerns about global warming, and demand action now.
