WE-AR OneWE-AR is a New Zealand Clothing Company, that produces simple / unique pieces and organic yoga clothing. WE-AR is the mantra ‘I Am’ or ‘We Are,’ meaning ‘All is One.’
Kiwi Jyoti Morningstar founded WE-AR in 2005 and opened her first store in Auckland in 2009.
All of their garments are made in Canggu, Bali. Their textiles are carefully selected and include Organic Cotton, Bamboo, Tencel and Modal – which are also known as “tree silk.”
They are partnered with Sustainable Business Network, Conscious Consumers, Accredited Living Wage Employers and B Corporation: Australia & New Zealand.
WE-AR have been the primary sponsor of Yoga Education in Prisons Trust (YEPT) since March 2014. Their sponsorship funds wages and expenses for one teacher to teach weekly yoga classes in Rimutaka Prison. They also award a Special Project Grant to YEPT for a three to four year research scholarship for an incarcerated individual on the effects of yoga.
