We won’t mislead you – conservation work and sustainable living requires work, but the outcome is worth it. From choosing to hold onto your trash until you can properly dispose of it, instead of littering; to trying to change laws to protect wildlife and nature itself. It all takes work and as human beings we need purpose and motivation to do said work. For some, it’s to pass the future generations a world the current generation was lucky enough to experience. For others, it’s their love and passion for the animals that can’t speak up for themselves. There are so many reasons to put in the work.
Recently I had the pleasure of witnessing nature in its natural state.. I’ve been lucky enough to not only swim with hunting marlins, playful California sea lions, but have also had the company of a Humpback whale on one of my Scuba Dives. There is something to be said about looking these wild animals, in the eye, in their natural habitat. To see there is a connection, a peace that is achieved, that cannot compare to anything we have “made”. With the world being locked up for the better part of two years, I highly suggest getting out and getting back to nature. You will have experiences that make the work you put into sustainable living worthwhile. The natural world is amazing. It’s beautiful. It’s worth saving. It must be saved. Begin the journey.
